I actually got to see a Mets game on Wednesday night. For a change they scored runs. For a change they won! I got so excited.
Then I saw the box score from yesterday and was brought back down to earth.
I also must say that Yankee Stadium and Citi Field are completely different ball parks. It's too hard to hit a home run in Citi Field and way to easy at Yankee Stadium.
The Mets will be building a team in the future years that is built on speed to take advantage of the large gaps in the outfield. They won't win with power hitters. The Mets also need JOSE REYES. They are so boring without him. I think that Citi Field was practically built for his skill set.
I also like Luis Castillo's hustle and Gary Sheffield's play in the game on Wednesday.
I don't miss Armando Benitez.
Also, I like the Rasheed Wallace signing. I think it's a good fit for both player and team for the Boston Celtics.
