So I thought it's a little ironic that Meghan Cunningham and Erin Clark are tied in scoring for summer league players right now.
I was texting Willis about something and somehow she mentioned that her friend Erin Clark introduced her to Meghan Cunningham and that the subject of my blog came up...
I just found this hilarious and was so thankful that I was not there at the time. I can think of nothing more awkward than being present at that conversation.
One other person brought up my blog to me and the conversation became extremely awkward and went nowhere. Thankfully I had a friend to rescue me...I laugh about the situation I was put in, but think that person is still pretty cool.
I didn't tell Meghan Nanfeldt about my blog...even though she is a really good friend of mine. I just thought it would be weird to tell her about it since I did write a little bit about her and lacrosse without mentioning to her that I had a blog...although as time went on I began to want to tell her about it until it finally came out.
Then one time Meghan and I were hanging out and she started talking about things that I wrote about but never recalled telling her about. She was like "I know you love two-sport athletes.." I do love two-sport athletes...I just never remember talking to her about them. (and I have a pretty good memory when it comes to about anything...even content of conversations...strangely...I don't always remember what I write) So as I was leaving I was like..."you know Meghan I have this blog"...and she goes "Yeah it's been found."
I thought that was funny.
I really only thought that a few people knew about it...like Ryan Grace, Greg M, Matt Huang, Nick Pellon, Jen Fusci, Wintana Araya, Dan Torf, Madeline Northrup and Willis Reed...basically people who followed the Tree Hill Ravens or took psychology with me.
I really had no idea what I was doing when I started this in December. Certainly writing anything about Meghan Cunningham never crossed my mind...which is probably hard to believe for many of you. Honestly it was finals week and I was bored. (yeah...I was bored...I'm not the type of person who benefits from cramming...I pay attention in class and try to get it before finals week...so finals week doesn't usually stress me out too much.)
I always knew I could write about sports because I enjoy sports. It's almost all I talk about. I figured that what I know is useless if I can't tell others about it...so I decided to tell others about it. (even though I know a lot of things that are quite frankly...useless...like who Billie Darrow was.) I also had planned to write more about pro sports than what I do...so that my family members could read my predictions. It was getting hard for me to email everyone what I thought about sports as I was busy at school (they loved reading my predictions on baseball and football...They were really impressed that I picked the Bucs to beat the Raiders long ago...and that I told them to watch for Devin Hester...who quickly got everyone's attention with his kick return for a touchdown)
Hopefully, if you actually read this...you have learned something or gotten a laugh out of what I just decided to start one day in December.
P.S. I will be going to heaven tomorrow, Lake Winnipesaukee and the Lakes Region of New Hampshire...so who knows how much I'll be on or not on.
