So about a day or two after Melissa Busque got kicked in the head I was still pissed off. I wrote about it at the time. (I also thought about it and it got me so mad during one of my classes that I couldn't concentrate) I was going to do a story for a campus media outlet. I was sitting in the 3rd floor of the Student Union writing and doing research for this story before I went to class.
After I got up I turned around and saw a girl sitting behind me and smiling at me. I thought to myself...that looks a lot like Melissa Busque. And I knew that I had her picture on the screen while I was doing research for a while. I wasn't quite sure if it was her. She wasn't wearing any soccer gear so I couldn't confirm that it was her. It might not have been. It also could have been. I could have been caught out doing research online about Melissa Busque by Melissa Busque. I was a little embarrassed that she might have caught me and I had class to get to so I fled the scene. Thought it was a funny story.
I learned my lesson and it's hard to spot me researching now. I kind of think of myself as a guy playing poker in 1870 in Deadwood, South Dakota. I'll sit in the corner with a view of the entrance and exits to make sure no one is coming.
