My sister's 18th birthday will be on UConn Women's Soccer's Senior Day.
My 21st birthday will be on UConn Men's Soccer's Senior Day.
That is a little odd.
I actually will be working for sure on my 21st birthday at a different event that same day. However, because the game is earlier in the day I will be able to enjoy the soccer game in it's entirety.
So women's soccer just released their schedule. As I said earlier, September 24th will be a great day. Great things will happen that day. That day is circled in my mental calendar.
This could be the last time I get the chance to see these two teams play, so I am tempted, really tempted to actually travel to that game.
The game that those two teams played last year was sad. There were some local young kids who were brought to that game and they had to see such blatant unsportsmanlike conduct displayed by the visiting school. It had to be explained to these kids that what was going on was wrong.
Great things will happen the next day, September 25th on what would have been been my paternal grandmother's 100th birthday..this according to a schedule that I got in April...This day is also circled in my mental calendar.
