Dan Mahoney was getting his fastball up to 93 MPH on Friday.
Scott Oberg also has some really really really really really intense intro music. If your intro music sounds like his than you better throw like 110 MPH. Literally his music is perfect for a hard throwing reliever. You can't have his intro song and be a lefty who throws soft change-ups outside.
George Springer, who has been sensational for the Huskies as a freshman has holes in his batting gloves. I would hope that he would get new ones. This is one huge hole. Maybe he hasn't gotten new ones because he's superstitious.
Also I need to thank catcher Doug Elliot because he found my missing student ID and got it back to me.
I also like how the baseball players try and help the little kids during contests by giving them clues.
On an unrelated note I am so happy that I will be able to tell people that I got my tan from the Sherman Complex and J.O. Christian Field. No one else can give that answer to the question "How did you get so tan?"
Oh and I did see Lauren Lemond on her bike today.
