UConn scores 2 vs UMass

Ok well not quite, but it sounded good. That exhibition game I was wondering about between the New England Mutiny and UMass for Women's soccer ended up with New England winning 2-0. Both goals were scored by UConn Huskies, which quite frankly is all I care about. Karen Gurnon scored the first goal, a game winner. Erin Clark scored the second.

I read that it was so hot for one of New England's games last year on artificial turf in California that Clark had to be subbed out of a game because of a melted cleat.

I've never ever ever in my life heard about that one. I have to ask some people in facilities about that.

Maybe that's another reason that we water our artificial turf at the Sherman Complex for Field Hockey games.

Also if you got turf burn on an insanely hot turf....OWWW...Then I might actually want an ice bath.
