I can bring up anything in conversation

I don't know how but somehow when I was bringing in my road bike for a tune-up at the bike shop today I brought up the women's soccer team and their history. I think I was talking about my obscure knowledge of sports and my major of Sports Management. I was talking about how I'd be the type of person who would want to study the economic impact of fouls balls in baseball. Somehow I remember transitioning to my story about knowing who Amanda Schwartz, Brianna Gray and Lauren Ebert were and ended up telling the people at the bike shop that the women's soccer team at UConn has been to 8 Final Fours.

Somehow I think I've talked about all of our teams at some point in a conversation with someone. I almost always bring up UConn soccer when I'm in Fairfield County to all of the people here who love the sport. I know that they love the sport, but they are unaware of our prestigious history in soccer at UConn. I always encourage them to drive up to Storrs to catch a game. I update a couple of them on some of the highlights of the year. I remember calling one of them and we spoke about O'Brian White and the Cincinnati and Tulsa game and of course (it almost goes without saying) Cory Bildstein's kick and the St. Johns game. I worked at the investment bank, RBS Greenwich Capital and I was amazed by how the traders were glued to the soccer games that were on TV last year. I told everyone who was talking about soccer about UConn's O'Brian White (The MAC Hermann award winner) and Stephanie Labbe, who was an alternate on Team Canada. I actually showed Labbe's Olympic Blog to a couple of people at work who were following the Olympics. I also showed a UConn Softball highlight video that I found on you-tube to an interested co-worker.

I love my neighbor Ms. Morgan because we both love sports and we love to talk about all sports. From the Raider's crazy draft to Stephanie Labbe playing in Sweden. Today we spoke about UConn and brought up these following teams in conversation: Basketball and football teams, Baseball, Softball and Volleyball teams and both soccer teams. Thought some of the athletes on those teams would appreciate knowing that at least one neighborhood in the country talks about their seasons and games. Also I brought up two of my favorite athletes at UConn that not enough people know about, George Springer and Meghan Cunningham. Ms. Morgan is also aware of Stephanie Labbe. She watches all of UConn's basketball and football games and also tunes in to watch the smaller sports when they are on SNY. I think she mentioned watching some women's soccer when it was on TV.
