No I didn't put my hair up.
I'm a guy with a buzz cut. I have no hair to put up. As a matter of fact I never grow it out. I cut it the moment it sticks up in the morning.
But I did score a game winning goal in pick up soccer. I think I've scored 4 goals in the start of my soccer career and two of them have been game winners. One of those was scored today. I scored the game winner and I kind of didn't celebrate too much. I just was waiting for the opportunity (literally Cory Bildstein's shot was in the back of my mind) and I got it and scored. I guess I mentally pictured it happening and it did. I didn't think, I just did it. Maybe I just did it because I have Nike Cleats.
Anyway I scored a game winner and I thought about Cory's goal as I was visualizing me shooting today. She inspired me to score the game winner...Even though her goal tied the game it was about as unbelievable as me scoring.
Cruz Hernandez also went through my mind too. That goal he had vs Notre Dame to win it for UConn.
The good news is that Brandi Chastain didn't inspire me to take off my shirt.

That photo is easily the most famous photo in the history of Women's Soccer. Maybe even in the history of U.S. Soccer...although my soccer history isn't all that great. I have no soccer books, but I do have tons and tons of baseball history books.
