So for the first time ever...how pathetic...I went to the Buckland Hills Mall tonight. I managed to run into several important UConn people there. Golf Coach Dave Pezzino was there at Dick's Sporting Goods store. He's a really nice guy, he said hello to me when I was trying on cleats.
As I first got into Dick's Sporting Goods I saw Shawn Nicklaw, Marco Zanfardino and some other probable soccer player...I just didn't get a good look at him, nor did I really care or think anyone else would care who I ran into while I was getting cleats. When they passed me we both gave that second look to each other since we go to Storrs and this was off of campus.

I'm sure that basketball players are noticed if they are walking through Buckland Hills Mall. I doubt that soccer players have any idea that the people who walk around the stores might know who they are.
Anyway I went to go buy soccer cleats. I had a pair that I wanted...right colors and such...but they didn't have the right size cleat with the right colors. So I ended up with a bright orange pair of cleats. I'm sure that they won't bring attention to my soccer short comings...not...
