So I joked with Willis that I talk about Sports 90% of the time and Meghan Cunningham the other 10%.
Anyway to proof that I know useless (well maybe this would actually be a trivia question) information about things other than sports, I have a story to tell from today. I was sitting with my friend Dan Stine and he was being stupid and asked me to name the 26th President and name where is is from off of the top of my head. I knew FDR was 32 (NY) so I backtracked from there...31 Hoover (IA), 30 Coolidge (VT/MA..born in VT served in MA) 29 Harding (OH) 28 Wilson (NJ/VA...born in VA...served in NJ) 27 Taft (OH) 26 Teddy Roosevelt (NY).
I should have known the 26th President was Teddy Roosevelt without back-tracking though. He was an outdoors guy. He loved sports too. He was one of my favorite Presidents because of all he did for the National Parks. I love being active and being outdoors. So did Roosevelt.
Still, My friend was really impressed that I could do that. I got a 5 on my A.P. US History Exam...(That would be a perfect score for those of you not familiar with A.P. tests) It was also the only A.P. exam I ever took. I probably couldn't do that for every President, but for most of them. I thought I should proof that my knowledge extends beyond just UConn Athletics. I figure that would make me seem a little bit more normal.
