Thee Ohio State has the largest athletics budget. It was over $100 million dollars.
I also read that the graduation rate of student athletes is higher than the average of regular students.
The University of Wisconsin-Superior determined that student athletes and athletics staff contributed approximately $1.9 million to the Superior economy in a year.
