Men's Basketball gets to have a home and home series with Notre Dame, Louisville and Cincinnati.

I like having home and homes with Notre Dame and Louisville because all four of those games should be good games to watch. I wish that UConn and Syracuse always had a home and home.

The one thing that I'd say is that I don't think UConn has a natural rival yet. The closest rival to me is Syracuse. I think that rivalry is up there as far as UConn is concerned but I'm not sure how Syracuse sees it. I think they are big rivals with Georgetown. Maybe for UConn, Notre Dame is next on that list in terms of rivals. I think everyone wants to beat Notre Dame in everything.

To be honest I think that it might be smart to schedule Tennessee in Men's Basketball at some point to further develop a UConn vs Tennessee rivalry. We will be scheduling them in football in 2015 or 2016. We know about the rivalry in women's basketball, and I think a rivalry for UConn with that school can develop if we can schedule to play all their major teams.

Scheduling is confusing and difficult so I don't know if that can happen. A lot, I mean a lot of planning and luck goes into scheduling. Therefore obviously it would be easier to develop an in conference rivalry.
