I caught a little bit of Chivas USA vs the Houston Dynamo in the MLS today between the Yankees and Red Sox.
Shavar Thomas is a defender on Chivas USA. He went to UConn.
Julius James plays for Houston but was not in the game.
Apparently Thomas has been playing well as a defender this year and is coming off of a concussion. I saw him make a bicycle kick on defense and also played really good defense overall. He stopped a lot of things from happening. His name was called pretty often.
