Random stuff from today

So I ran up Mt. Watatic again. It was fun, I didn't sprain an ankle. Actually I think Mt. Watatic was the only place in Ashburnham that I had a conversation with someone these last two days. I'm telling you, my Lake House is in the middle of nowhere. But it is peaceful. What's funny is that when I reached the top of the mountain we started talking about where we were from. I told him I went to UConn and he talked about basketball, especially our undefeated girls team.

So I hiked a Mountain on the Massachusetts/New Hampshire border and still found someone who talked about UConn Women's Basketball.

In December of 2007, for the week of Christmas I was on a Cruise Ship with my mom's side of the family. I went to the bar to watch UConn's Bowl Game. When I was there I met some UConn fans. As I was watching the bowl game they started talking about the Women's Basketball team. They wanted to know about Maya Moore and they told me that they watch UConn's womens games on the internet.

People also talk about UConn Women's Basketball in the middle of the Bahamas during Bowl Week.

People also learn how to go ice-skating in the Bahamas on a cruise ship. One of those people would be me.

I left my Lake House today. I'm back in Stamford now. There are plenty of people here.

I decided to avoid the Mass Pike today. I took 395, to 44, to 384, to 91, to 15 rather then just take the interstate the entire way. I wanted to avoid the tolls on the Mass Pike and 84 in Massachusetts. Anyway, the reason I took this way became evident as I was traveling on 44, just past UConn. I saw Sam Witryol driving. I couldn't tell if he had his pipe in. He was sort of holding up traffic, but no too badly.

As I was walking my dog tonight I heard some Celtic Music. I think Celtic Music would make a great rap beat. I really want to see a rap video with Irish dancers in it, with a beat the includes Celtic Music. This is random, but I thought it was a cool idea so I'm telling you about it.

Most importantly, and I will probably reiterate this with it's own post later, I had my best academic semester ever at UConn. I had a 3.694 GPA this past semester. This past semester is also the first semester that I wrote about Meghan Cunningham. Obviously when you write about someone as amazing as her, then you yourself would step your academic game up.
