UConn beat Villanova 16-6 today, taking the series from them at Villanova. George Springer went 3-6, but did not Homer.
What I was impressed with was the Bullpen. The last 4 UConn pitchers threw 5.1 innings and gave up a combined 1 hit, no walks and no hit by pitches...also no runs. They combined to strike out 6 hitters.
Those 4 pitchers would be Dennis Accomando, Dan Mahoney, Dusty Odenbach and David Erickson.
