I heard Coach Auriemma compare Caroline Doty to John Paxson. I thought that was a cool comparison.
Vladimir Ducasse is an offensive lineman at UMASS who went to High School with me. We were in the same gym class and he is projected to be selected in the NFL Draft. I've seen him projected as high as a first round pick and saw him as a fourth rounder somewhere else.
Anyway we were in the same gym class and we played on the same football team. A ball was tipped when we were on defense and both of us went for the ball. Vlad's head and my head collided. I was hurting after that. I actually didn't bruise, but it certainly made my head hurt.
Also the NFL draft sites have Lindsey Witten in the 3rd round, Andre Dixon in the 5th round and Robert Vaughn in the 6th round.
Lawrence Wilson is projected as a 2nd round pick in 2011.
Geno has also complemented Meghan Gardler on her ability to coach the team from the floor. I think Meghan will be a coach at some point. Her father coached Geno in high school so her family has proved that it's coaching has helped produce winners.
