I think it's hard to be in class with a field goal kicker. I mean that because if a field goal is missed and a game is lost by a few points it's then mean to talk about the football game that happened that weekend. You don't want to bring up the game again because you feel bad for the individual who messed up. I've steered conversations away from football games before.
Rarely are games decided just be a field goal. I believe that there is a lot more to a game than just a field goal. However, it is very nice to be able to be in class with a field goal kicker after they nailed one for a win. That's good, then you want to talk about the game.
