I must tell you that the UConn Strength and Conditioning staff at UConn do an excellent job. They are top notch. I am in fairly decent shape, yet I am really sore from a workout in my weightlifting class yesterday. We squated without using any real weight. We also had some intense warm-ups. We never stopped moving. I like being pushed and I hope the rest of my class is too otherwise they might come to loathe the class.
Also, fun fact...the UConn athletes are not allowed to sit between reps in the varsity weightrooms.
