It looked so beautiful to watch the passing before the game today in a warm up drill. It just looked so nice.
As I was walking on Morrone I thought that the goals looked so small, but I also love how the goals are made into a box...where as the goals you use for pick up games are not.
Today starts a stretch of five games in six days that I will be working. I will enjoy it. I love sharing my love of sports with others.
Today I ran music and got to watch the men's soccer game from the press box. Good deal. I wanted to get a good seat for todays game...and I did. The goal patrol and amount of fans was great...it was amazing. I hope it's always like that...for every game at Morrone.
I also must stress that athletes, fairly or unfairly, must always try to be on their best behavior. One way to ensure that no one will show up to games is to be arrogant. Confidence is important and it's a part of an athlete's training. Arrogance is not part of it. I, and most other people, have little respect for people who don't treat other people with respect.
I also played around today with soccer. I'm not good...but I did a couple of volleys...I volley-ed one just over the cross bar and actually volley-ed one into the goal.
