The Yankees over paid for C.C. Sabathia. He's the highest paid pitcher in baseball and not the best pitcher in baseball...Santana, Peavy and a healthy Beckett are all better than C.C....I'm thinking C.C. will could end up like a pitcher a little better Bartolo Colon...an overweight, overpaid pitcher who was pretty good for awhile. Maybe Barry Zito...it's a little scary that Sabathia didn't immediately take the Yankees offer...As a "west coast" player who doesn't want to really be a Yankee this contract may not end up well. The next Giambi??? We'll have to see.

I hope that the Yankees sign Derek Lowe and A.J. Burnett. I hope the Yankees continue to burn threw money on players that won't help them. Lowe is old, and average. Maybe a 4th starter at best...Please sign him for 4 or 5 years at over 12mil a year. Same for Burnett. He ought to stay healthy through out the contract.

I am really happy about K-Rod. but the Mets need more than just him. I think Orlando Hudson would be a great fit for the Mets at 2nd base.
