Dumbfounded

I am astonished at a few things that I found out while watching CNBC last night.

One is that a couple was gullible enough to invest $300,000 in pigeons because some one convinced them that pigeons were going to overtake chickens as a food source.

Gullible people need someone in their life who don't take everything at face value...if not they will be just like the birds that get sucked into plane engines...end up badly hurt.

Another came from the Bernie Madoff mess. I found it laughable that a family member didn't think something fishy was going on when he ended up getting a $16,000,000 return on a $14 investment. I can't even comprehend the return on that. With that kind of return...you have to wonder how your earning your money. You might be afraid to know, but you have to be curious. It's not like the whole 57 cents in interest you get on your savings each month.
