Today we found Jimmy Hoffa

My cousin from Florida and his wife and two young sons, ages six and four were visiting us the past few days. I had to work on Sunday, but got Monday off to spend ALL DAY with them. I planned on spending every waking moment entertaining and basically I did.

We went fishing and Will caught his first fish all by himself. I helped teach him how to cast and he learned to do that and then was able to catch a fish all by himself. He caught three and was thrilled with himself.

Then I sort of taught him how to juggle a soccer ball. I had him bounce it and then kick it up and catch it. It's one of the first steps to juggling. He's six so he has time. He atleast used both of his feet well.

We did water tubing, water skiing, pool, video games, darts, picked blueberries on the island and so many other things that I can't remember. I had a lot of fun, even when I dove in the sand with a stick and pretended it was a bazooka. Of course everytime I fired the "bazooka" Morgen had a metal shield. I guess I never won.

We also found Jimmy Hoffa. Well not really, but it sounds good. Will and Morgen starting digging in the sand. I asked what they were digging for and they didn't know so I ended up convincing them that they were going to dig for Jimmy Hoffa. Apparently Will uncovered 4 or 5 of Hoffa's bones.

"Hey kids, bored in the sand box? Well then just go dig and try to find Jimmy Hoffa!" "Whoever thought you could put fun and free in the same sentence?"

More to say later.
