I didn't know watertubing was such a workout

Watertubing takes very little skill. It's not like waterskiing. Basically with tubing you are pulled and you hang on. It's pretty simple. Today I went tubing which is rare because when given the choice I generally waterski. Instead I went tubing and my sister, not my father, drove the boat. That meant that I was going to be taken on a wild ride.

I was taken on a wild ride.

My sister's goal was to flip me which proved to me more difficult than she thought, though not impossible. I was strong enough and balanced enough to be able to hold my body while it was mostly off the tube and get it back on the tube so that I didn't fall off.

At one point she slowed down and then just unexpectedly gunned it which sent the tube flying out of my hands. She also went over as much wake as possible and whipped us pretty quickly when she took turns.

She also got me off the tube and flying in the air so that I landed sideways with my legs open. Basically a belly-flop that doesn't hurt your belly, just what's in between your legs. Maybe my sister never wants to be an aunt.

I recovered after a minute or two.

After awhile of tubing my arms also were much more sore than I thought they would be. I was holding on for so long on those turns and it was really a workout, plus getting back on the tube was also a workout. I'm much more sore from tubing than I thought it would be.
