More Rick Reilly. Here is an article that I love about the NFL draft. I wish I could think of his analogies. He is a good writer. I hope I can be a good imitator.

To say I don't follow the NFL draft would be a lie. I do follow it. I do care about who my team picks. I do hope we draft a certain player from time to time, but I almost never go, "man oh man, this guy is going to win us a Super Bowl."
From experience the most hyped up NFL Draftees are the highest picks in the draft. Generally your team gets a high pick by being really bad and making a lot of bad high draft picks that they probably celebrated a year or two before. (Browns, Bengals, Lions, Lions, Lions, Lions)
Bad organizations have bad cultures, bad group norms, bad everything and that often means that players that are supposed to be great, will be what their team is, bad.
Character issues also make me laugh. These are football players, not choirboys.
