Loren Sherer is amazing. She has been named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week four weeks in a row. She already has 13 goals. Lauren Aird had 20 all of last season. Sherer could be in for an amazing season at UCONN. Don't forget to check her out.
UCONN Field Hockey is also spectacular as a whole. Don't forget to stop by the Sherman Complex to check out a game and to also stop by the Student Union to donate money to "10 Days of Hope" to help raise money for Ovarian Cancer Research. I donated, and I hope you will too.
Speaking of donations don't forget to buy a soccer ball for the Kick 4 Nick initiative at the Men's Soccer game vs. St. Johns on Friday.
