I guess I finally have some time to write this morning. It probably shows. I know it shows when I get busy and can't write as much as usual. I'll work on trying to find a balance between writing a lot at once and going a few days of nothing or virtually nothing at all.
I have been discussing Tiger Woods with a few people from time to time. Tiger was always my favorite golfer. I don't like or respect what Tiger did. I would never associate with someone like Tiger in real life, but I don't know Tiger because I have never met him. I think the fact that I have the media between myself and him makes him easier to like. They liked him at first so everyone else did at first. It makes it hard to not like him later.
On top of that I love Nike. Usually people like an athlete and then like the brand they wear. I have always liked Nike and because of this I root for the Nike golfers. I want to see Tiger do well because I love Nike. My Sports Marketing teacher found that fascinating.
It is impossible not to root for Phil Mickelson now though. With his wife battling cancer it's hard not to root for a seemingly stand up guy.
