I have come far

So for some reason my mom decided to save a lot of my work from Pre-K through 1st or 2nd grade. I went through it and threw away almost all of it. It is pretty much garbage, but I kept the thing I made that said "Tim's Mom is a Princess." It was my thoughtful mothers day gift for her.

It amazed me how far I came from then. I couldn't write sentences in straight lines. Actually I still can't write legible sentences. I atleast can spell my name the right way. For a while I spelled it backwards as MIT.

I drew pictures of my family and how they grew through the year while in school. For some reason I made my tallest cousin the shortest in my drawing. For some reason my drawings of my family all looked like popsicles. I also gave my dad squares for arms. CREATIVE.

More than anything though I am amazed by how much the human brain can absorb and evolve. It was actually sort of fun to look through it after just graduating from college.

Sadly, I now realize upon throwing this stuff away that I could have made a fortune selling this as modern art in New York.

"The way theeee liiines move show me how expressive and thoughtful theeesss person eez. I see what he eez trying to saaay by using zeee same crayon for zeee entire project and by making zeeze peeecctturres out of unorganized liiines. Eet eeez a metaphor for life. Theees is a masterpiece...theees is brilliant. Thees arteeest eez a prodigy. I geeev you $1,000 for eeet"

"Sure, would you like the tissues I used when I had allergies last week too?"
