Texas Tech

I've been trying to write about the Texas Tech incident for the past hour but I can't really choose which side I support.

I wouldn't have fired the coach, and I wouldn't let an injured player practice.

I'd do a lot of different things to try and motivate a lazy player but I also think that parents should look out for the best interests of their child.

I think maybe everything here should just be more moderate and balanced.

Don't fire the coach, but rather monitor the treatment of injured players and explain the health and legal reasons to keep an injured player out of practice.

A coach should do whatever necessary (not including doing illegal things) to get the most of out his player, but shouldn't try to do so when they are injured.

A family should care about their child's sports but they shouldn't get over involved and lead to the firing of a coach. The player should have complained to the school and not the parents.
