It seems to me that in college football teams are allowed to contact coaches about their vacancies before those other coaches season is over. In the NFL you don't hire someone away until the season is over. Often times in college teams make decisions between the end of the regular season and the bowl games. I don't think it is fair to teams who are going to play in bowl games to have their coaches even be allowed to be officially hired away. Other teams should not be able to contact coaches until a coaches season is completely over.
In other words, using an example, Notre Dame should not be allowed to contact Brian Kelly until after Cincinnati wraps up it's season. It's unfair to the school and student athletes if it's done any other way.
