Dick Vitale actually said that John Calipari and Memphis shouldn't have their wins vacated on the broadcast of the UCONN vs Kentucky game. That it's not fair that their wins are vacated because everyone thought Derrick Rose was eligible.
Sure. How could we suspect John Calapari of cheating in College Basketball? It's not like he's had a final four vacated before. It's not like his players are all one and done players. Why would he think his star players are cheating to be eligible?
Are you kidding me? Of course those wins should be vacated. Derrick Rose probably knew he shouldn't be eligible. He probably would have gone pro from High School if he could have. I bet the Memphis coaching staff knew they were atleast in a gray area if not cheating.
Men's Basketball had more penalties, with 42, than any other college sport. Memphis had a couple of one and done players who were suspect academically. They got caught, they should have their wins vacated.
Men's Basketball...a sport in which coaches create positions on their coaching staffs for fathers of recruits.
Obviously there is no cheating here...
