10 years ago no one would have ever imagined that UCONN Football would be playing against Notre Dame on NBC. It speaks to just how far our program has come.
Obviously this year has been very difficult. If things broke the right way UCONN could easily be 9-0. No team has blown us out. We also lost a player to death.
I hope that tomorrow will be a bright spot for the football program because they sure could use one.
Maya Moore and UCONN look unstoppable again. Maya had an amazing stretch during this game where she stole the ball and got lay-ups and easy shots. Tina Charles was pretty good. I loved the way Kelly Faris played and was glad to see Caroline Doty knocking down three's again.
I spoke with someone knowledgeable about penalty kicks for men's soccer and sometimes even the best people at Penalty Kicks mess up.
