My favorite sort of goal

I love it when players who don't get a chance to play a lot play at the end of games. Typically these players are either young, hard workers and or very good students. They are also extremely talented and gifted athletes, even if they don't get lots of playing time.

I admire the players who do everything that the starters do, yet have to cheer their teammates on most of the time at games. I love it when they get to play. I love it when they succeed.

Those moments that they get to play, they treasure. I always find myself rooting for those players more than the starters. I think everyone is like that too.

A certain goal that was scored yesterday on a certain team really sticks out in my mind. It made me smile, it made me happier than any other goal scored in that game. It will be one of my favorite goals of the year. On a side note I love it when goalies score too.

If you asked me what my favorite goals were from this year I'd gladly tell you, I will start writing them down for memory's sake. However, I refuse to show any favoritism and I will not write any down here on this blog.
