I think I mentioned that it would be great if UConn and Tennesee scheduled to play each other in Men's Basketball a long time ago. I actually put that in writing on this blog at some point not that long ago. I just thought it would be a good thing for both schools.
I think the schools were thinking how I was thinking. (I guess that's a good thing...the people who run the athletic deparments at both places are pretty smart)
Well the schools are playing...soon in men's basketball. We are also playing them in football in the middle of the next decade...the women's basketball teams will probably meet sometime in the next decade either because of scheduling, if things get patched up between the programs, or advancing in the tournament...the programs are too good not to meet in a big matchup in March and April.
(Well I guarantee you I had nothing to do with this...I guess this was in discussion a while back...and this just makes me look 10x smarter that what I really am....I swear to you I knew nothing about this when I wrote that suggestion a while back)
