Ok I wrote enough about me for awhile. I don't like writing about me, because quite frankly I'm pretty sure that you're not interested in reading about it. Then again it's my blog and it's supposed to be about me some of the time.
It's also the summer...when UConn isn't playing. It can get tough writing in the summer when all you can do is re-live what happened a long time ago or speculate on the future...which I try not to do when talking about UConn...because I know coaches hate it. Our teams need to take every game one game at a time. Boring, but I agree that it's true. Reading the newspapers, and listening to the news can really effect one important muscle in sports, that would be the brain. It's also why I generally only say good things about athletes. Hopefully that will strengthen one of their most important muscles, their brain.
I also can't write about things that happened around campus...because I'm not on campus and no one else really is. I can't write about running into Maya Moore, having Hasheem Thabeet wave at me, seeing Erin Clark ride a scooter inside the natatorium lobby, watching Melissa Busque and Jessica Shufelt take painfully long to pick a seat in psychology class, where I spotted Jonathan Mandeldove, telling someone on men's track when their next home meet is etc. I also can't write about a Tree Hill Raven's game, or Ryan Grace's games because there aren't any. No stories from Sam either.
Atleast I can talk about Craig Sager's suits.
Don't worry 95% of the time it will be me talking about sports. I wasn't sure about that when I first started doing this. Then I realized that I talk about sports a lot...and really it's the only thing besides myself that I can talk about. That might be a little extreme, but it's somewhere close to the truth.
