I GOT THEM

I got the Rowing and Swimming and Diving media guide yesterday thanks to two awesome people, Willis Reed aka Kristen Beasley and Sam O'Donnell.

The largest College Regatta in the United States takes place in Philadelphia and is called the Dad Vail Regatta. It began in 1934. Over 100 colleges/universities from the U.S. and Canada participate.

There is an entire page dedicated to Sam Witryol in the back of the book. More love for Sam.

I also now can name and recognize some rowers. That ought to make my day. Willis could always correct me but I think I saw Willis and Gretchen Stern getting something from the South grab and go...which is a place I frequent often. I love those Chocolate Chip Cookies...and thank you Wintana for getting them for me.

I also always see Efmorfia Efthimiou in the dining hall.

I saw Kathryn Rauscher and Michael-Ann Sevick at a baseball game this weekend. Too bad the game wasn't at Fenway Park. If it was Willis might have shown up. Willis is very particular when it comes to ball-parks. She is very picky. I bet she hopes that the Red Sox never move out of Fenway Park.

She claims that she is going to Citi Field this summer. I bet the baseball gods rain it out. Which would be really mean by the baseball gods because they rained out last nights game for Willis too. Thankfully Willis arrived back safely.

I've never been to Fenway Park, but I have been to Coventry Lake. Not that many people can say that.

Rebecca Likar drives for Husky Sport.

I don't know how they can deal with the fame. I've been told that they would be absolutely shocked if anyone knew they rowed.

I feel like bringing my rowing Media Guide to the dining hall to make the team laugh.

Rowing has Big East's this weekend and then they have the Dad Vail Regatta coming up.

Stay tuned, Willis will tell me whatever is important.

My blog could be considered the National Enquirer for rowing.
