So basically Central traveled to Storrs to play a "home game" (because their field is no good) and lost a combined 19-0 in two games that ended in 5 innings.
Justyne Roy continued her hot hitting, hitting a home run over the left field fence in game 1. She also added a double in the first game.
Micah Truax hit a homerun in each game. One was a line drive rocket that left the field in seconds. The other was a bomb that I think hit off of a car. Both were to left field.
Ali Adelman pitched in the first game and then had an RBI on a ground out...She's a pitcher.
Julie Towers was amazing. She hit a home run and a couple more base hits today. 4-4 with a home run, two doubles and 5 RBI's in game two.
Meghan Tierney also had a fantastic at bat in the 2nd game. She worked the count to 3-2 and kept fouling off pitches before picking up an infield single. True lovers of baseball/softball would truly appreciate her at-bat. She went 3-3 in game two.
