As it turns it, Donald Brown is leaving. He was a lot of fun to watch and I wish him luck. I hope he represents UConn football well in the NFL. I also can't wait for an on-campus draft party. It would be great for UConn football if something was done for our seniors on Draft day. I also think that we are fine in terms of running backs. Jordan Todman and Andre Dixon will be great in the years to come.
As you know I was in Hartford for the women's basketball game so I missed Donald Browns amazing performance. I also was glad to see Steve Brouse score a touchdown. He is so underrated. He was missed in the red-zone when he was injured.
Rushing for all those yards as a team is really impressive too. The offensive line needs to get a lot of credit. Donald Brown did give them a shout out in his post game interview. That was a good thing.
Also it says a lot about the program for us to have the 11th best individual rushing effort in a single season. Over 2,000 yards in 13 games is unbelievable. And again it is a joke that Donald Brown and the offensive line didn't get more credit for their work this year.
