Does anyone remember when O'B accidentally kicked an opponent in the stomach. That must have really really really really hurt.

Speaking of pain one of the weirdest things I've ever seen happened for the softball team last year at the Big East tournament. UConn's Allie Genderon hit a line drive off of the DePaul's pitcher's head and was caught by the shortstop for an out, who threw it to 2nd base for a double play to end the inning. The DePaul pitcher also came back in to pitch the rest of the game with a melon on her head.

Men's soccer didn't have a winning season in their first 12 seasons (1928-1939) They went 2-2 in 1928. First winning season was in 1940.

The first win in Men's Soccer program history was over Stafford. The first game ever was an 8-0 loss to Clark. The first home game in program history was a win over Stafford 4-1, on 11-9-28

UConn made up for the loss to Clark, We are now 12-5-1 against Clark. I've never heard of that school.

The first coach in men's soccer was Roy Guyer. He went 2-2.

The record for most points in a game for UConn Men's soccer is 9, by Frank Innocent in 1972 vs Hofstra. 4 goals and an assist.

UConn Women's Hockey is 101-126-30 all-time. This year they beat New Hampshire and are 11-6-2. They haven't had a losing record in the last two seasons. They went 22-8-5 in 07-08
