Track and Field

I was just reminded about a conversation I had with someone on the track team and he mentioned that distance runners on track usually run at least 40 miles a week. The two elite guys on the team usually run between 50-60 miles a week.

A. Thats a lot of running
B. Thats a lot of shoes from the cage
C. Thats a lot of hardwork that goes unnoticed by too many.

I know someone who stopped running track. She said she ran about 3 or 4 miles non-stop and felt so out of shape. Doesn't everyone wish they could say that? BTW I am dying to go for a run with her.

If you think running a mile a week is too much then just think about how they do 60 a week...
